Lead Building Regulations Principal DesignerA leading architectural practice in Leeds is seeking a Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer to develop and grow its BRPD service offering.This is a standout opportunity for an experienced BRPD to take ownership of an emerging service line within an established architectural environment, combining complex project delivery with technical leadership and business development.The successful Principal Designer will work closely with Architects and Architectural Technologists across a strong pipeline of residential, healthcare and Higher-Risk Building projects.The Lead BRPD RoleThe Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer will take technical responsibility for BRPD services, leading projects through the Building Regulations and Building Safety Act compliance process.A major focus will be Higher-Risk Buildings, including compliance reviews, Gateway submissions, design change control and engagement with the Building Safety Regulator.Alongside project delivery, you will develop internal procedures, provide technical guidance and training, support fee proposals and help establish and grow the BRPD offering.The Lead Building Regulations Principal DesignerStrong BRPD or Building Control experienceProven experience working on Higher-Risk BuildingsExcellent Building Regulations and Building Safety Act knowledgeExperience with Gateway submissions and the BSRRICS, CABE, RIBA, ARB or CIAT background advantageousConfident leading clients ..... full job details .....
