Job Title: Lead Azure DevOps EngineerRate: £575 (Inside IR35)Duration: 6 monthsLocation: Remote- 1-2 days onsite in Manchester per monthClearance: Active SC Stages: 1 Stage Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation and support of Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms. Provide technical leadership to DevOps, Cloud and Platform Engineering teams. Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep/ARM. Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and operational processes. Implement Azure security, identity, networking and governance best practices. Work with architects and engineering teams to develop scalable and resilient cloud solutions. Lead containerisation and Kubernetes deployments using AKS and Docker. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability across Azure environments. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment and production issues. Drive DevSecOps practices, integrating security and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines. Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns and automation frameworks. Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across the DevOps function. Support cloud migration, modernisation and platform transformation initiatives.
