Lead AssemblerLocation: Reading Pay Rate: £15.86 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday Job Type: ContractLead Assembler RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team in Reading on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong assembly experience who enjoys supporting a team, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring production targets are met in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities of the Lead AssemblerLead by example on the assembly line, supporting production activities and ensuring work is completed to schedule.Coordinate daily workflow and assist in allocating tasks across the assembly team.Build and assemble products in line with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.Monitor production output and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.Carry out quality checks and ensure all assembled products meet required specifications.Support the training and development of new and existing team members.Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures.Work closely with supervisors and production management to achieve departmental targets.Requirements of the Lead AssemblerPrevious experience in a Lead Assembler, Senior Assembler, Assembly Team Leader, or similar manufacturing role.Strong assembly and production experience within a manufacturing environment.Ability to read ..... full job details .....
