Position: Lead Architect

Location: Remote - some travel required to UK offices

Tria has partnered with a global FTSE 250 organisation working in the maritime engineering industry, to hire a Lead Architect. The company are working through a major IT Transformation programme and as part of this require a Lead Architect to play a hands-on role in building its architecture practices and processes from the ground up.

They will be responsible for defining and maintaining the company''s current, target and transition-state architectures, establishing architecture standards and governance, and identifying how emerging technologies can be applied to create business value.

The company require the following experience:

• Substantial experience in both enterprise and solution architecture, with a track record of practising these disciplines at group or enterprise level.
• Experience working in a greenfield environment - Experience establishing or maturing an architecture practice, its processes and its artefacts.
• Broad application experience across COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), SaaS (Software as a Service), cloud-native and custom-built solutions.
• Experience evaluating and introducing emerging technologies, with good awareness of current developments in areas such as AI and machine learning.
• Recognised architecture framework certification, such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or equivalent.
• Sector experience in engineering, maritime, defence or energy.

The position is remote, with some travel to various offices across the UK when required.
