Lead Analytics Engineer - ContractLocation: Hybrid (1 day/week in London) Rate: 650- 700 per day (INSIDE IR35) Contract Length: 3 MonthsOverviewWe''re looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to drive the design and delivery of scalable data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions. You''ll sit between data engineering and analytics, enabling high-quality, trusted datasets for reporting and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable data models for analytics (e.g. star schema)Develop and maintain data pipelines / transformationsDefine and implement data standards, quality, and governanceEnable self-service analytics through well-structured datasetsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutionsLead best practice across modelling, documentation, and performanceSupport and mentor analysts / engineers within the teamSkills and ExperienceStrong SQL and data transformation experience (e.g. dbt or similar)Proven experience building analytics layers / semantic modelsSolid understanding of data modelling principlesExperience with cloud data platforms (Azure / Fabric preferred)Strong Power BI or equivalent BI toolingExperience working with stakeholders in a delivery-focused environmentDesirable:Python or other scripting languagesExperience leading or mentoring teamsExposure to modern data stack tooling ..... full job details .....
