Light Commercial Vehicle Technician - Preston
-17 per hour - Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:30pm (40 hours)
We''re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and friendly workshop, working on a varied mix of cars and light commercial vehicles. If you''re passionate about delivering quality workmanship and want genuine opportunities to develop your career, this could be the role for you.
Whether you''re carrying out routine servicing or tackling more complex mechanical repairs, you''ll play a key role in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and road-ready.

The Role
-Service, inspect and repair cars and light commercial vehicles.
-Carry out major mechanical repairs, including cambelts, clutches, gearboxes and engine replacements.
-Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
-Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
-Conduct MOT tests (Class 4, 5 & 7) if qualified.
-Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
-Deliver high-quality workmanship while working efficiently.
What We''re Looking For
-Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
-Full UK driving licence.
-Own tools.
-Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Desirable:
-MOT Tester Licence (Class 4, 5 or 7)
