LCV Technician Location: Bathgate Salary: 46,397+ Job Type: Permanent Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated LCV Technician to join our workshop team. The role involves carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and compliance. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on LCVsCarry out vehicle inspections and safety checks in line with DVSA standardsDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsComplete MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet compliance requirementsConduct road testing to confirm repairs and fault resolutionUse diagnostic equipment and software to identify faults accuratelyMaintain accurate job cards, service records, and inspection reportsWork collaboratively with workshop staff to meet deadlines and targetsEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulationsKeep the workshop clean, organised, and safeKey Skills and ExperienceProven experience as an LCV Technician / Vehicle TechnicianStrong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and diagnosticsExperience with electrical systems and fault findingAbility to work efficiently under pressureGood teamwork and communication skillsExperience in a workshop environmentQualifications ..... full job details .....
