Hybrid working-will be office based in Barking Town Hall


Description

This Lawyer role covers ;

- Prosecutions and advice for Health and Safety, Trading Standards, Planning, Licensing, Environment, Private Sector Housing, Food Safety and other areas

- Enforcement and recovery of expenses relating to statutory notices issued by Private Sector Housing and Trading Standards and other clients

- Advice to the Council in respect of proceedings before the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber/General Regulatory Chamber)

Initially for 3 months, this will be on a 3 months rolling agency assignment until the post holder returns.

- Advice to the Council in respect of licensing (Licensing Act 2003, Gambling, Street Trading and other Licenses)
