Laundry Operative

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Laundry Operatives based in the Fakenham area. Own transport is essential due to site location.Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.We are seeking hardworking and reliable workers to join our team in a busy laundry environment. You will be responsible for handling, sorting, washing, drying, and finishing laundry items to a high standard. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.Duties and responsibilities: Sorting and Loading: Sorting dirty laundry by type, colour, or cleaning requirements; loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers.Operating Equipment: Using commercial laundry machinery including washers, dryers, folders, and presses (training provided).Folding and Packing: Folding, pressing, and preparing clean laundry for dispatch or delivery.Quality Control: Inspecting items for cleanliness, damage, or staining; identifying items needing rewash or repair.Health and Safety: Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times, including safe manual handling and use of PPE.General Housekeeping: Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised to maintain an efficient workflow.Any other duties as required Requirements: Previous experience in a laundry or production environment (preferred but not essential.Ability to work on your ..... full job details .....
