Laundry Assistant Hours: 30 hours per week, part-time Rate of Pay: £12.92 per hour Location: Woodlands Care Home, Stockport, SK12 1SH About Us Serencroft Care Homes is an independent care provider operating five residential and nursing homes across England, including Woodlands in Stockport. We''re looking for a reliable, hands-on Laundry Assistant to help keep residents'' clothing and the home''s linen clean, safe and well-managed for the residents and staff who call Woodlands home. The Role As our Laundry Assistant, you''ll be responsible for the day-to-day laundering of residents'' clothing and the home''s linen at Woodlands. You''ll carry out washing, drying, ironing and sorting duties, follow infection prevention and control procedures, and help ensure the home meets health and safety standards playing an important behind-the-scenes role in the comfort and wellbeing of our residents. Key Responsibilities Wash, dry, iron and fold residents'' clothing and the home''s linen to a high standard Sort and label laundry correctly to ensure residents'' personal items are returned to the right rooms Follow infection prevention and control procedures when handling soiled or contaminated laundry Operate laundry equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate laundry records and ..... full job details .....
