Laundry Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team within a well-established care home for elderly residents in Coleraine. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm Pay: £13 per hour Contract: Minimum 6-month assignment with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis Key Duties: Washing, drying, ironing, and folding residents'' clothing and bedding Ensuring all laundry is labelled, sorted, and returned to the correct residents Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the laundry area Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently Following infection prevention and health and safety procedures Assisting with general housekeeping duties as required What We Need From You Previous laundry, housekeeping, or care home experience is desirable but not essential Reliable, hardworking, and organised Good attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and respectful when working in a care environment What We Will Offer You Weekly Pay Opportunity to work in the public sector Inclusion into our company''s pension scheme. ..... full job details .....
