Supporting the engineering function with the planning and execution of new product development and launch. Enabling planning and supply chain alignment to the latest engineering configuration for production and customer material requirements. Ensuring that inventory working capital impact is minimised through effective material phasing and burn off and in line with corporate objectives for cost and delivery performance. Main missions and results: - Work closely with procurement and scheduling team members to ensure all material sourcing is in line with procurement strategy and scheduled deliveries are in line with program or product launch milestones. - Liaise with engineering team to identify product change or NPI programme planning deliverables and schedule material demand and production plans accordingly. - In terms of material or product revisions ensure that there is an agreed point of embodiment for the changes and work with the relevant stakeholders to assess inventory impact, inventory burn off or inventory excess and obsolescence mitigation plans....
