Lathe Programmer

As a leading Midlands machinist, they offers extensive capabilities in both sliding head CNC turning and fixed head machining, delivering cost-effective precision-engineered parts to a wide range of industries nationwide. The Role Looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in CNC turning within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines while ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Key Requirements Previous experience working as a CNC Turner Programmer within the engineering and manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of CNC turning processes. Experience using Fanuc controls. Star/Lynx machinary familiarity Ability to programme using G-Code and M-Code. Good understanding of a range of engineering materials including: Carbon steel Stainless steel Plastics Other commonly used engineering materials Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
