Lathe Operator - Northallerton

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lathe Operator to join our client''s manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual and/or CNC lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate manual or CNC lathes

- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

- Choose suitable tools, materials, and speeds for machining

- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments

- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality

- Perform regular maintenance on machines and tools

- Record production data and maintain documentation

- Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams

- Adhere to safety procedures and uphold a clean work environment

- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
