The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will be responsible for ensuring machines are set up correctly, production targets are met, and materials are handled safely and efficiently using a counterbalance forklift truck. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machinery in line with production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets and technical specifications. Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and consistent product quality. Carry out quality checks on finished components and report any defects. Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift truck. Move raw materials and finished products safely around the production area.
