Laser Setter Operator

Industrial Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter Operative with a curent and valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join our client''s manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will be responsible for ensuring machines are set up correctly, production targets are met, and materials are handled safely and efficiently using a counterbalance forklift truck. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machinery in line with production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets and technical specifications. Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and consistent product quality. Carry out quality checks on finished components and report any defects. Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift truck. Move raw materials and finished products safely around the production area. Ensure all machinery and equipment are operated in accordance with health and safety procedures. Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records where required. Carry out routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance issues. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
