Our client based in Nelson is looking for an experienced Laser Operator on a permanent basis, the client is a well-respected manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience on

The Job

• Operating Trumpf CNC Laser machines, both CO2 & Fibre
• Accepting deliveries of raw materials
• Dispatching finished products
• Carrying out regular services and maintenance on machines
• Delivering finished products across the north of England when required
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Meeting deadlines
• keeping regular check of stock
• Loading/Unloading HGV's

About you

• Ability to understand, interpret and work to Engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances
• Team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to support the business needs.
• An in-depth knowledge of laser machining.
• A commitment to implement and develop business improvement initiatives across the cell.
