Laser Operator (Rotating Shifts)

Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading& multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Laser Operator to join our busy and expanding Laser team based in Darwen, Lancs. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Laser Operator, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm. 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience 

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Previous experience operating CNC Lasers would be an advantage 

• Good understanding of engineering drawings 

• Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential 

• Counterbalance FLT licence is an advantage 

• Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship 

• Able to work pro-actively 

• Work overtime when necessary. 

Working Location/Environment 

Darwen, Lancashire 

Hours of Work 

Week 1: Mon to Thurs 6am – 2pm and Friday 6am – 12pm 

Week 2: Mon to Thurs 2pm – 10pm and Friday 12pm – 6pm 

Salary 

OTE £13.81 - (Basic Rate £12.50 p/h + £20 Per week Attendance Bonus + £30 Per week Shift Allowance)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 

Pay: £12.50-£13.25 per hour
