Laser Operator

We are currently recruiting Laser Operators-to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located in-Hixon, Staffordshire. These roles are-long-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.

Laser Operator key job details:

• Nights:-18:00 to 06:00, 4on4off shifts-
• Starting rates from -15.26ph-to -17.55ph (dependant on skill/experience)
• Weekly pay

Laser Operator key responsibilities:

• Working from technical drawings, setup and operate laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines
• Inspect, measure, and monitor quality of product,-and adjust machine accordingly to ensure quality finishes in line with specifications
• Use various measuring tools to inspect final product
• Record production data and report any issues or defects to supervisors
• Conduct routine checks/maintenance on machine to ensure it runs smoothly with no defects
• Comply with health and safety regulations

Laser Operator person specification:

• Previous experience of operating Laser cutting, engraving, or marking machinery is essential.-
• CNC Machine experience is also beneficial
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good communication (written/verbal) essential
• Own transport is essential
