Laser Operator (Night Shift)Location: Poynton Job Type: Temp to Perm Salary: 16.02 - 17.49 per hour Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00amThe OpportunityAn established manufacturing and processing business is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join its night shift operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in laser cutting, CNC machinery, or metal processing who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.Working as part of a busy production team, you will be responsible for operating specialist laser cutting equipment, ensuring products are manufactured to precise customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Main DutiesSet up and operate laser cutting equipment to process steel products in line with production requirements.Interpret cutting schedules, technical instructions, and work orders to ensure accurate output.Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required to maintain quality standards.Safely move materials throughout the facility using overhead lifting equipment and material handling vehicles where authorised.Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and specifications.Complete routine equipment inspections and report any faults or maintenance concerns.Accurately record production data, stock movements, and quality control information.Assist with material preparation and ensure ..... full job details .....
