Laser Operative

The Recruitment Group Loughborough have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking CO2 Laser Machine operator and Setter at our site in Loughborough. This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established multi-national company. Candidates who have experience and qualifications in CO2 Laser operation, specifically operating and setting Trotec laser machines would be advantageous. Company specific training will be provided. The Hours: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday - with Overtime during peak - Overtime rates Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience The Role: Setting and operating Trotec CO2 Laser machines producing a high-quality finish to tight tolerances whilst complying with health and safety regulations. Programming the Laser machines using CorelDraw and altering drawings in AutoCad Ability to understand technical drawings and accurately interpret required component and have the ability to work out the best method to complete the task safely. Machining mainly printed plastic sheet material and occasionally jigging mouldings to the required design from a technical drawing, ensuring the correct tooling is always installed. Maintain a high-quality standard and ability to self-check all work produced adhering to all CTQ notes on the drawing.
