Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Cutting Machinist to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

• Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials safely
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards
• Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Working efficiently to meet production schedules and targets

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery is essential
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
