Sheffield Precision Medical (SPM) is looking for someone with experience in laser marking or a related precision manufacturing environment to join our skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Laser-Marking experience who enjoys working on a challenging and varied product range, and wants to develop and apply their skills across Fibre and Diode laser machinery, in conjunction with final product processes; cleaning, passivation and packaging. You''ll work in a clean manufacturing environment with complex machinery, taking responsibility for setting, operating and programming CNC Laser-Marking machines while maintaining consistently high standards of quality and output. The Role at a Glance Position: Laser Marking and Finishing Technician Shift pattern: Standard Day-shift - 07 00, Monday Friday The Laser Marking and Finishing Technician will be primarily responsible for the programming, set-up and operation of laser marking equipment used to mark orthopaedic implants, medical devices and other company products. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure markings meet customer specifications, technical requirements and applicable quality standards.
