Laser Cutting Operator Location : NottinghamJob type: PermanentHours: 40 hours per weekPay: £15 - £17 per hour (including shift allowance)An excellent opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced Laser Cutting Operators to join our clients well established business in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone with abackground in precision manufacturing who enjoys working in a fast paced production environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.You will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machinery, producing components to specification and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities: Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machines to meet production schedulesLoad and unload materials safely and efficientlyInterpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentationCarry out machine adjustments and tooling changes where requiredInspect finished components using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gaugesComplete production paperwork accuratelyand maintain manufacturing recordsMonitor machine performance and report any fault or production issuesCarry out routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenanceContribute ideas to improve productivity, quality and manufacturing processes About you: Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery within a manufacturing environmentThe ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience ..... full job details .....
