This role is ideal for someone with strong experience setting and operating large CNC lathes and working with Mazak and/or Fanuc control systems. Hours: 39 hours per week Rate:  £18-22/hour DOE (Setting vs Operating vs Programming etc) Core Shift: Monday to Thursday: 6:45am to 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am to 1:00pm 30-minute unpaid lunch break Key Responsibilities Program, set and operate CNC lathes, including reading, editing and optimising CNC programs. Follow manufacturing procedures, set-up sheets and work instructions to ensure consistent production. Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances with a strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Manufacture precision components to customer specifications and quality requirements.
