Freelance Land Surveyor - HS2 (Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire)We are seeking experienced Freelance Land Surveyors to support the HS2 project at our Chipping Warden site in Northamptonshire on an initial short-term basis.Working alongside the Senior Land Surveyor, you will help establish and maintain the site survey control network and support the delivery of key construction stages. Responsibilities include carrying out topographical, engineering, hydrographic and measured building surveys using modern survey equipment such as robotic total stations, GNSS systems, laser scanners and drones.You will be responsible for:Setting out and carrying out as-built surveysTopographical and engineering surveys, including laser scanningProcessing and managing point cloud dataGNSS surveying, precise traversing and levellingDrone surveys for earthworks measurementProducing and reviewing survey drawings in AutoCADAnalysing survey data using Trimble Business Center and GIS softwareSupporting survey reports and technical documentationCoordinating with Site Engineers and project teams on survey priorities, design changes and quality requirementsLiaising with consultants for inspections and approvalsRequirementsHND/Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics or equivalentPrevious experience in a similar surveying roleExperience preparing survey Method Statements and Risk AssessmentsStrong knowledge of Trimble total stations, GNSS receivers and levelsProficiency in Trimble Business CenterExcellent ..... full job details .....
