Laminator/Machine Setter

Gi Group are proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Laminator/Machine Setter to join a leading manufacturing company based in Wednesbury.This role is due to start in October and offers a permanent role within a stable, growing business.The Role: What you''ll be doingOperate and set up the Foil Laminator to meet production requirementsComplete machine setting, start-ups, adjustments and changeovers (temperature, line speed, adhesive application, etc.)Prepare profiles and foils, ensuring correct materials are loaded and ready for the runMonitor performance throughout the shift to maintain quality and maximise outputCarry out in-process checks to confirm finish, adhesion and colour consistencyTroubleshoot minor faults and escalate technical issues when neededWork safely at all times, keeping the area clean, organised and audit-readySupport basic cleaning and routine upkeep of laminating equipmentCollaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to hit daily targetsExperience working around Extrusion / profile manufacturing processes is beneficialWhat we''re looking forPrevious experience operating laminating machinery (Foil Laminator experience preferred)Background in manufacturing-ideally windows, plastics, Extrusion or similar environmentsConfident with hands-on machine setting and making process adjustmentsStrong attention to detail with a quality-first mindsetReliable, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of ..... full job details .....
