We are looking for a skilled Fiberglass Laminator to join our client in Coventry. You’ll be working on a variety of products and Components, with competitive pay and great hours.
Pay: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)
Location: Coventry
Hours: 37.5 per week
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00 (30-min lunch)
- Friday: 07:30 – 13:00 (early finish every week!)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare moulds and apply gel coat to specification
- Read and interpret lay-up drawings
- Carry out laminating processes (wet-lay, spray lamination, trimming, polishing)
- Mix and apply resin and hardeners, ensuring a smooth, defect-free finish
- Use rollers, brushes, hand tools, bonding pastes, core materials, and jigs
- Identify and correct laminating defects, maintaining high quality standards
- Record job times accurately and follow strict health & safety practices
- Support across departments when required
About You:
- Previous GRP/Composite laminating experience (wet-lay, trimming, polishing, grinding)
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Reliable team player with good communication skills
- Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
