LAGGERS / THERMAL INSULATION OPERATIVESLocation: London and Greater LondonJob Type: Long-term / Ongoing ProjectsSector: Commercial Construction / Building ServicesPay: Competitive rates dependent on experience and projectWe are currently looking for experienced Laggers / Thermal Insulation Operatives for a number of projects across London.We are looking for skilled operatives with a genuine background in thermal insulation and lagging, working across commercial construction projects including schools, hospitals, offices, hotels, residential developments, plant rooms and major MandE installations.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Laggers looking for consistent work on established London projects.THE ROLEAs a Lagger / Thermal Insulation Operative, you will be responsible for the installation of thermal and acoustic insulation systems across a range of mechanical services.Typical works will include:Installing thermal insulation to pipework, ductwork and associated mechanical servicesLagging hot and cold water pipeworkInsulating heating and chilled-water pipeworkInstalling insulation to HVAC and ventilation ductworkWorking within plant rooms and MandE service areasInstalling insulation to valves, flanges, bends, tanks and associated equipmentMeasuring, cutting and fitting insulation materials accuratelyInstalling vapour barriers and protective finishes where requiredInstalling pre-formed or fabricated metal/PVC claddingWorking with materials such as mineral wool, ..... full job details .....
