Hygienic process pipework is a core strength, so quality, tidy finishes and attention to detail matter on every job.This is a great opportunity for an experienced pipe lagger to join the team, supporting major process pipework installations on site at Lockerbie, DG11 1LW.The role As a suitably experienced industrial pipe lagger, you will be installing insulation to process pipework and finishing it to a high standard. Typical duties will include:Installing 40mm thick pipe insulation to 3" and 4" diameter pipeworkCutting and fitting insulation around bends, tees, valves and other fittingsFitting aluminium cladding to a neat, weatherproof finishSecuring cladding with stainless steel bandingWorking safely alongside other trades on a live installation siteKeeping your work area tidy and following site rulesAbout youLiving within commuting distance of DG11 1LW, ideally based in Dumfries and GallowayDemonstrable experience of pipe lagging with aluminium cladding and stainless steel banding is essentialExperience on industrial sites, ideally in a food, drink or petrochemical processing environment, is ..... full job details .....
