Labouring Assistant (Temporary 3-Week Contract)Basildon 12.71 per hourMonday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm We are recruiting for a Labouring Assistant to join a leading equipment hire and services business that supports construction, industrial, facilities management, utilities, and infrastructure projects across the UK. Known for its commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence, the company provides a wide range of specialist equipment and solutions that help keep projects moving efficiently. This is a temporary 3-week contract based at their Basildon site, offering full-time hours and an immediate start. The Role As a Labouring Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the site''s day-to-day operations and helping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include:Keeping workshop and yard areas clean, tidy, and free from hazardsAssisting with the cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipmentSupporting the Maintenance Operator with general labouring dutiesMoving equipment and materials around the site when requiredAssisting with housekeeping duties across the facilityFollowing all health and safety procedures and site standardsCarrying out other general duties as requested by the site teamAbout YouPrevious labouring, warehouse, yard, or industrial experience would be advantageousWillingness to work outdoors and in a hands-on environmentReliable, punctual, and hardworkingGood attention to ..... full job details .....
