My client requires Markets Operatives to join their team, supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance and presentation of markets across Walsall Borough. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving physical work in all weather conditions. Location: Markets across Walsall Pay: -16.38 per hour (CIS or Umbrella) Hours: 18 hours per week guaranteed , Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Approximately 6-7 hours per day, with early starts typically between 4:00am and 6:00am. Weekly rotas provided. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Temporary, 3 months with potential to extend Markets Operative Set up and dismantle market stalls. Move and position bins across market sites. Carry out litter picking and maintain clean and presentable market environments. Clean stalls, bins, compounds and communal areas. Support the upkeep and general maintenance of market infrastructure.
