Experienced and professional Markets Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.My client requires Markets Operatives to join their team, supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance and presentation of markets across Walsall Borough. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving physical work in all weather conditions.Location: Markets across WalsallPay: 16.38 per hour (CIS or Umbrella)Hours: 18 hours per week guaranteed, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Approximately 6-7 hours per day, with early starts typically between 4:00am and 6:00am. Weekly rotas provided.Start Date: ASAPDuration: Temporary, 3 months with potential to extendMarkets OperativeSet up and dismantle market stalls.Move and position bins across market sites.Carry out litter picking and maintain clean and presentable market environments.Clean stalls, bins, compounds and communal areas.Support the upkeep and general maintenance of market infrastructure.Carry out basic weeding and general site maintenance.Spread grit and rock salt during icy weather conditions.Assist with the smooth operation of market activities.Engage professionally with market traders and members of the public.Report issues and provide updates to the Team Leader and Market Operational Manager.Work safely and effectively in all weather conditions.Use basic hand tools and equipment as required.RequirementsPrevious experience undertaking manual or physical work.Ability to work outdoors in all ..... full job details .....
