Are you an experienced Labourer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Full-Time Labourer to join a growing landscaping and fencing team. Immediate start available. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who isn’t afraid of hard work, takes pride in what they do and can work both as part of a team and independently.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work well within a team and independently

Desirable:

• Previous labouring experience
• CSCS card, although training can be provided

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carrying and fetching paving slabs and materials
• Loading and moving materials around site
• Using wheelbarrows and moving aggregates/soil
• Mixing mortar and concrete using a cement mixer
• Assisting landscapers and fencers with day-to-day tasks
• Keeping sites, tools and working areas clean and tidy
• Undertaking other general labouring duties as required

As a Labourer, you will also be expected to:

• Follow instructions from landscapers, fencers and site supervisors.
• Use tools, equipment and materials safely and responsibly.
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Represent the company professionally while working on site.

• Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.
• Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.
• Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met.
