Job Vacancy: General Site Labourer

• Location: Hemel Hempstead (HP1)

• Pay Rate: -17.43 per hour

• Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

• Contract Type: 12 Months (Ongoing)

• Start Date: Monday (26th October)

• Site Maintenance: Keep welfare areas, access routes, and plots clean, tidy, and safe by clearing rubbish, sweeping up, and managing skips.

• Material Handling: Safely unload supplier deliveries and distribute heavy building materials to designated plots and work areas.

• Trade Support: Provide hands-on assistance to bricklayers, carpenters, dryliners, and other trades across site.

• Site Security & Setup: Assist with moving temporary fencing, perimeter security, and locking down materials/plots at the end of the shift.

• Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to site rules, maintain walkways, and immediately report hazards to the Site Manager.

• CSCS Card: Valid CSCS card is essential (Green Labourer card or higher).

• PPE: Full standard PPE required (Hard hat, Hi-vis vest/jacket, Steel-toe safety boots).

• Experience: Proven experience working on busy UK construction sites.

• Attributes: Reliable, punctual, physically fit for manual lifting, and holds a strong work ethic.

• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK is mandatory.
