Labourer

The Role:We are currently recruiting a dependable general labourer for a contract role on a busy residential new build site in Sunderland.Working alongside the Site Manager and trade teams, you will play a key role in keeping active plots moving, supporting sub-contractors, and ensuring site safety and cleanliness standards are met daily.Key Responsibilities:Assisting sub-contractors and site trades with moving and distributing materials across live plots.Sweeping out plots, clearing construction waste, and loading skips.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site environment in line with health and safety procedures.Assisting site management with unloading and managing incoming deliveries.Carrying out general physical labour and manual handling duties as directed by the Site Manager.The Requirements: Valid CSCS card (Essential).Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction site (New build housing experience preferred).Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots).Strong work ethic, excellent punctuality, and a proactive attitude.Solid awareness of site health and safety around live plots and site machinery.Based in or easily commutable to Sunderland (Tyne and Wear area).How to Apply:If you hold a valid CSCS card and are looking for contract work in Sunderland, we want to hear from you.
