Labourer - Nightshift

General Labourer– Tranent, East Lothian

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:45 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour
Overtime Rate: £30.00 per hour
Payment: CIS / PAYE Umbrella
Contract: 13-week probationary period
Location: Tranent, East Lothian

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives / General Labourers to join a busy industrial yard in Tranent.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Moving steel and aluminium materials around the workshop and yard
• Preparing materials for galvanising and dispatch
• Checking incoming deliveries and paperwork
• Inspecting galvanised materials for quality and accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong team-working ethic
• Previous yard or industrial experience advantageous
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
