General Labourer (Engineering Trainee Pathway)Job SummaryWe are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to support our engineering and production teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop practical engineering knowledge and hands-on technical skills while gaining valuable workplace experience. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of labouring, assembly, maintenance, and workshop tasks while learning different aspects of mechanical and engineering operations. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00/ Fri 07:00-12:00 noonPay rate: 13.00 per hourContract: Temp to permKey ResponsibilitiesAssist engineers, technicians, and skilled tradespeople with daily tasks.Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, moving, and preparing materials, working on rebuilding the workshop.Support workshop operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.Learn to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.Help with equipment inspections and basic maintenance activities.Learn to follow engineering drawings, instructions, and technical guidance under supervision.Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures.Participate in training opportunities to develop engineering skills and knowledge.Complete other duties as required to support engineering and operational teams.Skills and ExperienceEssential:Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Good practical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work as ..... full job details .....
