Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer for a site in Kilmarnock. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various operational activities across our site. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic working environment.

Duties

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Preparing work areas by clearing debris and organising tools and supplies
• Supporting tradespeople and other team members in daily operations
• Moving, lifting, and positioning materials safely around the site
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work zones to ensure safety standards are met
• Assisting with general maintenance tasks as required
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks

Requirements

• A valid CSCS card
• Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the day
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols
• A proactive approach with a positive attitude towards work responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices within a labour environment is desirable
