Labourer PASMA (CSCS)

Skilled Careers a recruitment company is working with multiple construction contractors throughout the country.

We are currently looking for a CSCS Labourer to expand our team.

There is a new position for an experienced labourer in Brighton on a property development site. 

Duties for the PASMA labourer will include:

• Operating the Scissor lift/Cherry picker: lifting light materials and supporting other workmen at height.

• Site Preparation and Maintenance: Assist in setting up scaffolding, clearing debris, and ensuring the site is safe and organised.

• Material Handling: Move and distribute materials like bricks, timber, and tools to various parts of the site.

• General Labour Support: Aid skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters) with their tasks as needed.

• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements for the Labourer:

• Valid PASMA Ticket: Demonstrates knowledge of using the Cherry Picker/Scissor lift.

• Valid CSCS Card: Demonstrates knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Includes items such as safety boots, hi-vis vest, gloves, and hard hat.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.

• Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively under supervision and collaborate with other team members.
