The Recruitment Group are looking for a Labourer to join our client in Loughborough. As a Labourer, having experience under traffic management measures would be beneficial. You must also have an indate CSCS card. If you feel the role of Labourer is for you then please read below.
Pay for the Labourer: £14.00 to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm but may be required to start earlier and finish later depending on the day.
You will be supporting delivery of the day-to-day operational aspects of our Client’s daily tasks which may include undertaking preliminary site visits to gauge technical requirements and undertaking device installations and maintenance operations, and associated activities, as appropriate.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Labourer, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with sensor installations in a variety of locations and for a variety of purposes.. This includes coverage across the UK and may require overnight stays
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders on site to gain permissions prior to installation, as appropriate
- Effectively adopt and utilize the field service management system and related system(s)
- Assist with monthly stock checks and inventory management
About You
You should demonstrate competence in most (preferably all) of the following:
Essential
- At least 1 years'' experience in site based environment, such as construction or a discipline similar to the role
- A full UK driving licence (required)
- Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation and best practices
- Use of and maintenance of power tools and equipment
- CSCS Card (Labourer Green Card)
- Computer literate with experience of using at least basic Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to overcome issues
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and engage with customers
- Ability to thrive in a challenging environment, prioritise tasks effectively, and respond promptly to changing conditions and priorities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A pro-active approach to health, safety, wellbeing and protecting the environment
Desirable
- Experience of installing external hardware
- Experience working near water courses
- Certificates/training relevant to the role e.g NRSWA, low risk confined spaces.
- Experience of implementing or undertaking works under traffic management measures
