Laboratory Test Technician and Project Coordinator (MATERIALS and COATINGS) - Watford, Herts(THIS IS A FULLY SITE-BASED ROLE SO CANDIDATES SHOULD BE WITHIN EASY COMMUTING DISTANCE OF WATFORD, HERTS.)A new vacancy for a Laboratory Test Technician/Project Coordinator (MATERIALS) with leading UK provider of specialist services to Construction product manufacturers and installers. Based at the company''s facility in Hertfordshire, the Laboratory Test Technician/Project Coordinator (MATERIALS) will be responsible for overseeing projects, coordinating and distributing tasks, assisting technicians and collating test reports to ensure on-time delivery and effective use of resources.Candidate Profile:Experience working in a laboratory/test environment in at least one area of specialisation or expertise.PHYSICAL TESTING in a particular area or specialisation.Knowledge of Test procedures and requirements.Experience Managing / organizing and conducting tests in compliance with relevant procedures, requirements and regulations.Ability to judge the technical integrity and soundness of test results.Experience collating test report information from difference sources into one coherent document.Good understanding of stores and goods in/out procedures.Salary and benefits include:Starting salary: circa 32,000 per annumEmployer Contributory Pension Scheme of 6%Life assuranceGenerous holiday allowance starting at 25 days and increasing to 30 after five years of serviceHealth care cash plan ..... full job details .....
