Laboratory Technician

Are you a graduate with a passion for laboratory work? We''re looking for a motivated and methodical individual to join our clients team as a Laboratory Technician. This full-time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment, with full training provided. This will be working on a 4 week rota basis Key Responsibilities: Preparation and testing of samples eg oil, lubricants, fuels etc Carrying out quality control checks and interpreting test results Checking test results and checking subsequent reports prior to client submission Maintaining good housekeeping practices in the laboratory Washing laboratory glassware and preparing solvents, control, and calibration samples Safe disposal of used oil samples Occasional client liaison Supporting laboratory operations outside standard hours when necessary Note: Some tasks may involve manual lifting or use of a respirator. What We re Looking For: A degree within a scientific discipline e.g Chemistry or Biochemistry or similar Previous laboratory experience in a working/education environment preferred Methodical and detail-oriented working style Good standard of mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills Accurate data recording Comfortable working under deadlines and as part of a team Willingness to support operations outside regular working hours if required Initiative and a proactive approach to lab success Computer literate ..... full job details .....
