Laboratory Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a busy analytical laboratory at their site in Middlesbrough. This is a 12 month fixed term role. Performing sample preparation to a high standard and in accordance with established procedures and maintaining accurate records.Carrying out data entry of sample information onto the laboratory management system Advising the Day Supervisor of any practical, operational or QHSE issues that arise during the working day. Complying with the working rota and weekend working systems as directed by the Day Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager. Providing cover for absence during normal working hours and on Saturdays in agreement with the Day Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager. Participating in internal and external audits (ISO:9001, ISO 18001, ISO 45001 and ISO:17025) including witness analysis and competency testing.Your background:A/AS/GCSE Level(s) in related subject(s).Previous experience in relevant laboratory and/or industry-based experience would be an advantage.
