Laboratory Technician

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits, to be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis. The salary on offer is 25,000- 27,000.00 The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring laboratory operations are conducted accurately, safely and efficiently.The role: Labelling and aliquoting reagents and materials in accordance with written proceduresWashing, preparing and maintaining laboratory glassware and equipmentPreparing buffers, reagents and solutions Supporting protein purification and manufacturing processesMaintaining appropriate stock levels of laboratory consumablesEnsuring laboratory areas remain clean and organisedCompleting documentation and maintaining accurate laboratory recordsYour Background:A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological disciplineDemonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratoryApply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
