Laboratory TechnicianImmediate startTemp to Perm 13.14 per hourHours 08.00 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 08.00 to 12.00, 36 hours a weekMy client is looking for Laboratory Technicians to join their current team and to be successful in this position you will require the following experience :Assist Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work meets health and safety requirements, is done on time and to required quality standardsDeputise for the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work continues to be carried out to a high standardEnsure all work is done to correct quality standards, completed on time and without error, and with the minimum of supervision and monitoringLearn new work techniques, formulations, processes and train othersMaintain accurate records for stock control, QC testing and production monitoring purposesCarry out other production duties in different departments as requiredIdentify new methods of working and improve working practices in collaboration with other team members and production managementMaintain a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring that work areas are kept clean and tidy, and glassware is washed and put awayUnderstand and adhere to performance and quality standards, making sure that all work is done to meet customer needsAll work is to be carried out accurately to avoid errors, with careful following of work and sales order requirementsTake responsibility for good work standards, anticipate problems and take the initiative to prevent problems ..... full job details .....
