Laboratory TechnicianLiverpool 27,000 MondayFriday, daysWe''re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join a busy laboratory team, carrying out routine sample preparation and analysis while supporting the wider team with day-to-day laboratory activities.The role will involve:Preparing and weighing samples for analysisCarrying out analysis using HPLC, GC and Ion ChromatographyUsing balances and standard laboratory equipmentCarrying out routine laboratory tasks and basic equipment maintenanceRecording data and tracking samples using laboratory IT systemsPerforming calculations and ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed turnaround timesWorking to ISO 17025:2017 and company quality proceduresMaintaining good housekeeping and high Health and Safety standardsAbout you:Practical laboratory skills or experience working in a laboratory environmentGood attention to detail, numeracy and computer literacyStrong manual dexterity and the ability to follow instructions accuratelyGood judgement and problem-solving skillsA team-focused approach and good communication skillsAn HNC/HND, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent scientific qualification would be advantageousExperience within an industrial laboratory and knowledge of ISO 17025 would be useful, but full training will be provided, so these are not essential.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
