What You Will Do: - Operate metallurgical and mechanical preparation equipment to assess components according to engineering specifications and drawings. - Conduct routine quality control testing for Electric Drive Unit (EDU), battery, and frame assemblies. - Perform teardowns of stators and frames using destructive equipment like bandsaws. - Carry out visual weld inspection testing and ultrasonic testing of spot welds. - Use optical microscopes to measure welds, rivets, and porosity content, as well as radiographic analysis of components. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve product quality issues.
