Pre-Clinical Laboratory Scientist (In Vitro Biology / Toxicology)Location: Onsite (5 days/week) Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm Contract: Maternity cover (until end of September) Pay: 22.77 per hour (PAYE)Role OverviewSupport the delivery of pre-clinical studies, focusing on in vitro biology and toxicology, to assess product safety and support regulatory submissions. The role contributes to generating high-quality scientific data to underpin product development and safety claims.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in vitro laboratory studies and generate data for reports and submissionsMaintain laboratory operations, equipment, and processesApply cell biology and toxicology techniques to assess product safetySupport study design, data analysis, and interpretation, including high-content screeningEnsure compliance with GLP, health and safety, and best practicesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders and support scientific presentationsContribute to development of new pre-clinical capabilities and methodsAssist with regulatory documentation, publications, and scientific reportsSkills and ExperienceEssentialProfessional laboratory experience in a biological or biotech settingExperience conducting in vitro studiesKnowledge of cell biology, toxicology, or pharmacologyStrong data analysis and scientific communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeDegree in Biological Sciences or related fieldDesirableExperience developing cellular assaysAnalytical chemistry ..... full job details .....
