Laboratory Technician

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our technical team in a modern, clean FMCG environment in Tewkesbury. You will help ensure our dairy products meet quality, food safety and legal standards. LOCATION: Tewkesbury Industrial Estate PAY: £ 12.05 per hour HOURS: 37.5 per week WORKING PATTERN Weekdays: Weekday shifts rotate between 05:30, 06:00, 07:00 and 12:00 Saturday: Saturday at 08:00, Sunday at 06:00 Additional Information: Saturday shifts consist of the following times, with approx. 1 Saturday off a month.Sunday shifts are 06:00-18:00 (approx. once every 6-8 weeks).03:00-11:0005:30-13:3006:00-14:0007:00-15:00Midday - end of production DURATION: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks What you will be doing Sampling and testing raw milk and pasteurised dairy products Carrying out microbiological, chemical and compositional testing using aseptic technique Accurately recording and interpreting laboratory results Monitoring HACCP controls and supporting food safety compliance Completing water testing and customer Certificates of Analysis Keeping laboratory areas clean, tidy and compliant Following COSHH, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Good Laboratory Practice procedures Working closely with the Laboratory Manager and Technical team Undertake any other reasonable laboratory duties to support the efficient operation of the department What you will bring Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a strong focus A positive attitude and ..... full job details .....
